Description IWM commissioned spoken word artist Amerah Saleh to lead a series of creative writing and performance workshops for young people from the Yemeni Community Association in Eccles, Manchester and the Liverpool Arabic Centre. Exploring thoughts and ideas around Yemen, the humanitarian crisis and the concept of home, the young people created their own personal spoken word response titled ‘Our Yemen’ Learn more about the project.
