Hello and welcome to the Healing Yemen Project. I am an American researcher with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Bachelor of Arts in Geology from George Mason University. I started this project to not only increase awareness of the Yemen Crisis, but also for those who are not aware of where Yemen is. As a geographer and story teller, I am a firm believer in that to understand any crisis, we must first understand the narrative of the people enduring that crisis first hand. This means understanding the historic and geographic scope of the situation.

 

Along with managing the website, I also manage Healing Yemen's social media platforms, research, and develop maps on certain issues the war has caused on the site's blog. As the project continues to grow, I hope to learn and discuss more with you on how we all can make a difference for Yemen regardless of where we are in the world.
